Medicine 2.0

I stumbled across the topic about medicine 2.0 when reading the new york times about a couple of weeks ago. I had read that tech firms where pushing to computerize patients histories. This sounded like a very interesting topic to research about. There have been many pros and cons dealing with medicine 2.0 because it is all web based and as you know the computer isn't always the safest tool to use. Medicine 2.0 (also related to Health 2.0) is the use of specific web tools in order to enhance the health care industry. When dealing with Medicine 2.0 there is a contribution of patients, doctors, scientist, etc. that collects and creates openness between each other. The approach I would like to take in this project is to show how Medicine 2.0 effects the society itself by viewing both the pros and cons.
